Amy Day, Principal
As the founder of Cowtown Creative, Amy Day works with organizations of all sizes to help ensure consistency and brand continuity in all marketing and communication messages with the end goal of helping them realize the greatest amount of return for their marketing dollar.
Having worked in the public sector for many years, Amy has handled the marketing and communication needs of business offices and divisions in the United States, Canada, EMEA, and Latin America. This has provided her with the experience needed to understand how to reach audiences on a global scale.
As a professional writer herself, Amy’s work has been published over 100 times in a number of trade publications, magazines and books. She has also served as the Senior Editor for STRATEGY Magazine, which celebrated its nationally distributed inaugural issue in August of 2008. Amy is currently authoring two books, set to release in 2012 and 2013.
Amy has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Master of Business Administration in Marketing Consulting and Strategic Leadership from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. She has been certified by the Disney Institute in Customer Service and recognized as a Cox Distinguished Business Leader.
